History of the Faroe Islands (Please Don’t Laugh) – Comedy in Iceland
History of the Faroe Islands (Please Don’t Laugh) – Live in the Westman Islands!
On Saturday, October 4th, Höllin í Vestmannaeyjum becomes a classroom you didn’t sign up for. Faroese comedian David Valley takes you on a “deeply serious” journey through the history, culture, and personal stories of the Faroe Islands – a place nobody ever thought or cared about.
The show was created for the 2025 ReykjavĂk Fringe Festival to great success and sold out shows. It has since been booked as a regular show in TjarnabĂĂł this fall, and will also be performed around Iceland and the rest of the world over the next months.
Opening the night is Icelandic comedy favourite Eggert Smári, bringing his sharp wit and dry humour to get you laughing before class starts.
Please be respectful when the class starts, and please don’t laugh
