The Dubliner Saturday Comedy Show

Meet the Hilarity Trio: A Comedic Convergence of Cultures!
Árni, the dry-humored sage who traded the Swiss Alps for Iceland’s volcanoes. He’s like a fine wine—best enjoyed with a hint of existential dread and a side of dark humor. He often jokes about how glaciers are more dependable than most relationships, and his punchlines are so cold, they might just freeze you in your seat!
Then there’s Huw, our Irish-English environmental warrior turned comedian. After realizing that saving the planet felt less like a degree and more like a lost cause, he swapped his thesis for theatre. He brings a unique blend of wit, questioning the condition of our earth while also admitting that the only thing more unstable than the climate might be his dating life—it’s warm one moment and freezing the next!
And finally, we have Sölvi, the youthfully optimistic jokester whose gullibility is only rivaled by his good looks! He’s the guy who believes that every cloud really does have a silver lining, even when it’s just the sun trying to break through. His charming silliness on stage takes everyone on a ridiculous ride through the absurdities of life, and he prides himself on being Iceland’s second-best-looking comedian—right after himself, of course!
Your host of the evening
Eggert Smári – A former Open Mic comedian who has worked his way up, Eggert is now a household name in Icelandic comedy. Expect witty banter and great energy to kick off the night! Eggert as worked with a lot of big commit comedy stars like Rosebud Baker, Todd Berry, Matthew Browick, Cody Woods and Andy Haynes. just to name a few
Together, these 4 create a stand-up experience that’s a delightful mix of dark wisdom, environmental musings, and charming naivety. It’s the kind of show that will have you laughing while pondering deep questions…or questioning why you laughed so hard in the first place!
